Candleshoe (DVD) Casey Brown (Jodie Foster), a street-wise L.A. kid, joins with a con man (Leo McKern) to cheat Lady St. Edmund (Helen Hayes) whom they believe possesses buried treasure. Casey poses the woman's long-lost granddaughter, but soon finds that life in the mansion isn't what she had expected.
